The Rev. Chuck Bradshaw
Vicar
Chuck+ grew up mostly in towns near Boston. He has been a Coast Guard sailor, a school teacher, and a chimney sweep. After 31 years of superficial church membership, he became a committed follower of Christ in 1982. He studied at Trinity School for Ministry in Pennsylvania before pastoring Episcopal congregations in Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Maine. Chuck and his wife, Beth, spent three years as missionaries in Uganda, where Chuck was the principal of a diocesan training center, and Beth established a school for church musicians. They have been married for over 40 years, have two adult children, and live in Hancock, Maine.
The Rev. Matthew Fleming
Deacon
Matthew is a native Mainer originally hailing from the Katahdin Region. In 2022, he led the Team that launched Christ Church as a lay minister, and is delighted to continue his ordained ministry here.
Deacon Matt is also a finance and accounting professional, serving as a credit union executive.
Deacon Matt and his wife, Kayla, are musicians who enjoy leading the musical portions of our worship services. They live in Winterport with their two children.
The Rt. Rev. Julian Dobbs
Diocesan Bishop
Bishop Julian Dobbs is the Diocesan Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word and has oversight of the clergy and congregations in the diocese. He and his wife, Brenda, have made their home in Northern Virginia since 2006. Ordained in 1991, he planted three congregations and served as the rector of the fastest growing Anglican church in New Zealand. He was elected and consecrated as bishop by the Church of Nigeria in 2011. Bishop Julian is passionate about the saving power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is committed to empowering congregations, supporting clergy, transforming injustice, inspiring local and global mission, and planting churches.
